Plans and lays out work from oral and written instructions; assigns and supervises the work of plumbing personnel engaged in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water, air, gas, sewer, steam, and hot water heating and distribution systems; supervises and inspects the installation and repair of plumbing pipes, sinks, traps, valves, faucets, vents, pumps, and similar equipment, fixtures, and apparatus.
